Ring the vet straight away for

  • Pale, white or blue gums
  • Difficulty breathing, or noisy, laboured or very fast breathing at rest
  • Collapse, or not being able to stand
  • Retching without bringing anything up, especially with a swollen tummy
  • Bleeding you can't stop with steady pressure
  • A seizure lasting more than two minutes, or more than one in 24 hours
  • Anything you think might be poisoning, even if your dog seems fine so far
