Dog walking, day care & home boarding in Eye (PE6)

Whether you're in Eye Village itself or out towards Eye Green (PE6), you're well within reach for all three of my services: fully insured dog walking, doggy day care, and council-licensed home boarding, all run to the same small-group, one-to-one standard whichever part of Peterborough you're in.

★★★★★

“We're in Eye so it's perfect having Sandra nearby, she walks our dog Benji round Eye Lake and he comes back exhausted every time (in a good way). We board with Sandra when we go away, and Benji honestly loves it, proper playtime with his new pals.”

Right outside my door

Home boarding and day care both happen right here, at my own home near Werrington on the north side of Peterborough, roughly a 10-15-minute drive from Eye, shown below.

Coming off Werrington Parkway, between the Papyrus Road/Vindis Audi roundabout and the Glinton McDonald's roundabout, turn onto Gasworks Road. Turn left and follow the road down to a left turn onto Hurn Road, then follow that all the way down and round the corner to the right to reach Sandra's Place.

Where walks happen

Eye Green Nature Reserve is right on your doorstep, a lovely fully-enclosed circuit with water for dogs to cool off in, so plenty of walks happen there. Other days, depending on the dog, we might head further afield instead, to Ferry Meadows or Nine Bridges along the Maxey Cut, both covered in my guide to the best places to walk dogs in Peterborough.

Dog walking

A 30-minute walk is £10 and an hour is £16 during the week, or £15 and £24 at weekends, with groups kept to a maximum of four dogs per walker so every dog gets proper attention. See the full price list or get an instant estimate for your dates.

Doggy day care & home boarding

For a day at work or a longer stay away, day care and home boarding both happen at my own home nearby, council licensed to the Higher Standard (Licence No. 132982) and fully insured. Your dog stays as one of the family, not in a kennel run, with garden play, sofa snuggles and round-the-clock care. New boarders start with a one-hour Stay & Play session (£15) to settle in first.

Not sure which service suits your dog, or how it compares to a traditional kennel? My home boarding or kennels quiz gives an honest steer in four quick questions, and the guide to choosing a boarding service covers what to check before you book.

Frequently asked

Do you offer dog walking in Eye?

Yes, covering both Eye Village and Eye Green. Eye is one of the closest villages to my own home, so dog walking, day care and home boarding are all offered there, alongside Ailsworth, Castor, Glinton, Helpston, Marholm, Newborough, Sutton, Upton and Walton nearby.

Is home boarding available for dogs from Eye?

Yes. Home boarding and day care are drop-off and collection based, so they're open to dogs from Eye and much further afield, distance only really matters for regular walking. It's roughly a 10-15-minute drive from Eye to my home near Werrington.
